An intensive care unit (ICU) provides the critical care and life support for acutely ill and injured patients. It differs from other hospital wards in that: ICU provides 24-hour care from a highly-trained team of specialists. In BHRC ICU is equipped with advanced technology Ventilators available more than 5-6 in numbers. Along with Intensive Critical Care Unit we do have Step Down facility in which we observe our stable patients just before transferring out them to normal hospital wards. We maintain all hygiene protocols for the safety and prevention of our all ICU admitted Patient’s. Not out side food is allowed along with giftings like flowers etc.
Man power of ICU includes Chief ICU Intensivist, Nursing Incharge and Nurses round the clock and our main concern is to maintain the patient-nurse ratio always, which leads to better super vision and control of patients’ health and recovery.
